SUNDAY NEWS glitter-graphics.com It's raining here. One of the only places in Michigan to get
rain today and we got it. Just glad it is not cold and snowy!!
Slow going with deer season starting today, the hunters won't be too happy!
I live within the city limits but I heard 3 gunshots near here
around 8 AM so I know the hunters are out. Scary driving though,
so many fields here did not get harvested yet. The corn is high
and brown so it hides the critters.
Life here pretty much exists of traveling back and forth every
day to the hosptial. Mom underwent her first dialysis treatment
yesterday. They gave her 2 hours instead of 4. They are trying
to help her kidney heal up some. I was hoping she wouldn't have to go
that route but it became necessary. Trying to get her to eat and to
have a better outlook is hard when she feels so tough. Almost a week now
and she is used to the routines there but not the FOOD! Is anyone??
I must add though that the diet here is pretty accomodating if a person
would just get it down them.
 One time I wished that she was notso picky at what she eats. YES..
 I am taking some food from home and bringing in some Ensure to see if she will drink it. At this point
anything is better than nothing!!
 Well Hope your day is wonderful there where you are.. I heard some
white stuff is covering the west some and hope it MELTS by the time
it gets this way!

under his belt, has come out with his long range view of what
will occur here this winter. He has been pretty correct in the past
so I tend to listen when he talks.. In our area....
Once again this year I think the chance of a White Christmas
(snow on the ground) will be at least 75%. We will see a
January thaw with the temperature gets into the 40s briefly,
but I think overall this winter will be 1-2 degrees colder than average.
There is a better chance for a March snow event this year.
I’ll add that weak El Ninos usually bring a fairly sharp
move to spring, featuring warm weather by May."
Sounds good to me.. I mean it will be no time to May right?
 Yeah..ask me again about February!! I will be ready for our annual
trip to some sunny place
 to get away from all the white stuff!  I sure am grateful for the nicer weather. I know some Novembers in
years past we have had snow already. Traveling back and forth on
the roads then in that.... is not GOOD. Gas continues to be 2.54 or 2.59
so far. Stable for the last week. I have bought my share and then
some. Deer season starts this weekend and I am not looking forward
to them jumping out on the roads at night either. Scares me to pieces.
Mom is stable today and not eating as well as they would like. You know
hospital food and restricted diets are the pits!!
 Her sleep so interupted..she just needs more rest. Will probably be another
2 days before she is strong enough to leave though. We keep good thoughts for
that too. I can't believe it is friday already,where did the week go?

WEll hope you all  glitter-graphics.com GOOD NEWS..The good news is mom is feeling better. She is sitting up and
eating and loving the attention!! Not sure of the outcome
regarding her dismissal from this luxurious place, but she
is improving some.
  Did you actually think I wouldn't be taking pics of
what is going on here? LOL
I got this one on the way home the other night.
We have seen some wonderful sunsets the last
few days. The sun has been out and the temps pretty
cold in the mornings.
 Very long days here sitting and waiting
and wondering about how she will recover. Takes a lot of patience
that is for sure..thank goodness for distractions like TV and internet.

THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR HUGS AND PRAYERS FOR
MOM. Her surgery was successful and they will be watching
for infections etc. She should be going home by the weekend
if all goes well. Having great friends in the spaces community
helps so much. You are all so special to us!!
TUESDAY UPDATE...Here is the latest on what is going on here. I have been moving back
and forth from the hospital in another town for two days now with Mom
who has been sick with Pancreatitis. It is caused by her
gall bladder and stones which are or have irrratated the pancreas.
They are giving her all kinds of
tests and she may get surgery by the week's end. She is stable as of
this afternoon and we are still consulting with many doctors.
Your prayers are sure appreciated right now. Mom is in a private room
due to the outbreak of flu we are having, and likes that a lot. We do too!
Will keep you all updated as things progress.
